What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Unity Source Group?
Are you a skilled and passionate Paralegal looking to join a dynamic, fast-paced law firm with a strong focus on Mass Tort Litigation? We are a well-established firm with 15 attorneys and 15 dedicated support staff, successfully litigating high-profile personal injury cases, including automobile and boating accidents, wrongful death, and product liability. Our expertise also extends to complex commercial litigation, such as breach of contract, fraudulent transfer claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, employment law, commercial real estate litigation, tax controversy, and more.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist attorneys in all phases of mass tort litigation, from case intake through trial preparation.
Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, and discovery responses.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
Manage and organize large volumes of case files, medical records, and discovery materials.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses.
Track case deadlines and maintain case calendars.
Support attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, and case strategy.
Qualifications :
2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in mass tort or personal injury litigation.
Strong knowledge of legal procedures, case management, and court filings.
Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Paralegal certification is a plus (we offer reimbursement for certifications related to your role!).
