Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components using power tools and hand tools according to schematics and technical drawings.
- Perform soldering tasks, including surface mount technology (SMT) assembly, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters to verify dimensions and electrical properties of assembled products.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assembly roles, preferably in an electrical or mechanical environment.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for assembly tasks.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical documentation related to assembly processes.
- Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for soldering and assembly quality requirements.
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and mechanical systems is preferred.
- Ability to read measurements accurately using calipers and other measuring devices.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
