Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and systems based on provided schematics and technical drawings.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate parts as needed.
- Perform soldering tasks with precision, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards.
- Conduct electrical wiring for assemblies, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, verifying that all specifications are met.
- Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of completed work.
Skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with soldering techniques and surface mount technology (SMT).
- Familiarity with PCB assembly processes and related equipment.
- Strong machining skills, including the use of various power tools and hand tools.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
