Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain the appearance of surfaces.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Carry out porter duties which may include moving furniture or equipment as required.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Perform residential painting tasks when necessary to maintain the aesthetic of the facility.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
