Job Overview
The Material Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of materials and supplies within the organization. Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Analyze data related to material quality and performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 13485 standards.
- Utilize vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines to assess material integrity.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to develop and refine quality control processes.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality assessments.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any quality issues or discrepancies in material delivery.
- Assist in training staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality systems and methodologies, including ISO 13485.
- Experience using vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
