Job Overview
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the established quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position requires proficiency in various precision measuring instruments and a strong understanding of quality inspection processes. The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring that our products consistently meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes in accordance with CGMP, ISO 9001, HACCP, and FDA regulations.
- Perform visual inspections using vision inspection systems to detect defects or inconsistencies in products.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality metrics.
- Collaborate with production teams to provide feedback on quality issues and recommend improvements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
- Knowledge of CGMP, ISO 9001 standards, HACCP principles, and FDA regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience using Calypso software for measurement analysis is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
