Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in support of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of task order execution, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, cost, and performance objectives under the guidance of the Program Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing IT projects in a DoD environment, a strong understanding of DLA J6 IT requirements, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.
Must have a Secret Clearance & PMP
Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies for enhancement.
- Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions and services.
- Provide detailed status reports, briefing, and presentations to stakeholders, including government leadership.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with DLA policies, standards, and security requirements.
- Utilize research methodologies to gather data and insights that inform decision-making.
- Analyze existing workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.
- Overall management of technical solutions for specific tasks.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for process optimization that can enhance service delivery.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- Experience in Project management with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
- Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
Required Certifications/Education
- Must have Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP)
- BS or BA
- Active Secret DoD Clearance or current favorable Tier 3 background check
Certification, other equivalent nationally recognized certification.)

Pay: $79,984.00 - $125,857.00 per year
