Position Overview:
The Deli Clerk is a key member of the culinary team, responsible for preparing, serving, and maintaining deli and "grab-and-go" items. This position also involves assisting the Executive Chef with meal and entrée preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deli Operations:
- Prepare and serve deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and other menu offerings, ensuring quality and presentation standards.
- Set up and maintain counters and steam tables, replenishing items as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests and addressing their needs efficiently.
- Food Preparation:
- Assist the Executive Chef in meal and entrée preparation.
- Prepare "grab-and-go" items such as packaged meals, snacks, and beverages.
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
