Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains and odors.
- Execute floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and sealing various types of flooring.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in custodial closets and storage areas for supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for environmental services to promote health and safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in custodial practices with a focus on floor care techniques.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning methods and equipment operation.
- Ability to operate floor care machinery such as buffers and extractors safely.
