Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to join our team in Shippensburg, PA. The EVS Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Environmental Services team, ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all employees, visitors, and guests. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Staff: Manage, train, and evaluate the performance of EVS team members to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain Standards: Ensure all cleaning activities meet Sodexo's quality and safety standards, as well as client expectations.
- Schedule Management: Create and oversee staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage across shifts and efficient use of resources.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and facility managers to address any concerns or special requests.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and supply usage.
- Problem Solving: Address operational challenges promptly and effectively, implementing solutions to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in environmental services, custodial, or housekeeping roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
