The Data Analyst provides revenue cycle and quality consulting assistance to the administrative and managerial staff of RYC-CADS. This position will be responsible to help improve revenue cycle / quality performance throughout the two organizations. They will be expected to identify opportunities for performance improvement based on regulatory, payer, physician, departmental and / or service line analysis. The Analyst will provide process support for management including, but not limited to analysis of chart reviews, quality initiatives / reporting, continuous readiness activities for accreditation, and risk management in each unit and other assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Performs monthly chart reviews for different departments
- Prepare RYC-CADS reports by collecting and reviewing researched data then inputting, editing, retrieving, and copying data, text and graphics as needed.
- Reviewing clinical documents for completeness and sound decisions.
- Articulating findings and providing insight to areas of opportunities for the various departments.
- Creating / running data-mining reports needed by departments.
