UnityPoint Health - Eyerly Ball provides outpatient, residential and community mental health services. As a leader in providing services that respond to the changing mental health needs in our community, Eyerly Ball has evolved over the years from a single outpatient clinic to include multiple clinic locations, residential facilities, community outreach programs, care coordination and crisis services. • Full-time position M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Practice autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients’ psychiatric illnesses in an Urgent Care setting
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and follow-up medication management to patients
• Treat crisis situations and emergencies, as needed
• Current schedule: No call, no weekends, no holidays. Can pick up weekend shifts in the hospital for extra pay
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

• PMHNP
• Prior Behavioral Health experience preferred
• Board Certified
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
