Responsibilities
• Position requires on-call. Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of call-in when on a call shift.
• Must own a telecom device capable of receiving call-in pages
Qualifications
Education:
| Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or Paramedic program. | Paramedic-Specialist |
Experience:
| Two years of pre-hospital experience as a Paramedic (Hospital based experience is preferred), or prior Cath lab experience or training as a CVT.
Be a graduate from an approved invasive Cardiovascular program and be registered or scheduled to take the registry within 1 year of hire. |

License(s)/Certification(s):
| Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Paramedic Specialist or CVT. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. |

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
| Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Multicultural sensitivity. Microsoft Office – basic computer skills. Customer/patient focused. Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.

Other:

Work may occasionally require travel to other UPH facilities. May drive a UPH vehicle, rental or own vehicle.
