Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vitals, medical history, and reason for visit
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments including pap smears, pelvic exams, and prenatal visits
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Perform basic lab tests, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
- Provide patient education and instructions for follow-up care
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Support a positive, team-focused clinic culture
- Current CMA/RMA certification required - accepted through AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCT
- Previous experience in OB/GYN or women’s health is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a busy clinic environment
