Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care – Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, ensuring safe and effective patient care to improve function, mobility, and overall well-being.
- Document and Communicate Patient Progress – Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, report patient responses to treatment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Promote Quality and Compliance – Adhere to clinical best practices, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements while participating in case conferences, training, and continuous professional development.
Education:
- Graduate of State Board approved program for Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Minimum CNA 75 hour
- One year experience in a health care field
- ICM Certification
- Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state(s) and/or organizational requirements.
- Mandatory Reporter: Child Dependent Adult Abuse.
- Person Centered Care (PCC) course completion within the first 12 months of hire annual completion of competency validation activities.
- CPR: Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card with Re-certification
