Monday- Friday, 8a-5p

The Clinic Administrator is responsible for the operational performance in an office practice or department and monitors the activities of all office operations components to ensure the clinic or department meets its objectives. Advises and seeks consent from the organization’s leadership team to coordinate and manage the activities in the clinic or department.
Responsibilities
UnityPoint Clinic Cedar Rapids is seeking dynamic and experienced leaders to join our team. As Clinic Administrator, these leaders will partner with physician leaders in a dyad relationship to:
- Oversee day to day operations of multiple or larger regional clinics.
- Lead efforts to optimize clinic performance to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Recruit, supervise, mentor, and develop clinic staff.
- Demonstrate sound fiscal management of clinic operations through budget planning and performance. Assure optimal use of regional resources to meet objectives.
- Participate in the provider recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
- Strong commitment to team, excellence, and patient experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven collaborator and leader.

Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required OR a combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in physician practice management preferred.
- Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) is a plus.
- 2-3 years of leadership experience
- Experience in accounts receivable, to include billing, collection, ICD-9 and CPT coding.
- Strong commitment to team, excellence, and patient experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven collaborator and leader.
