The Clinical Contract Labor Coordinator is responsible for daily operations of clinical contract labor who engage with UnityPoint Health.

Responsibilities
- Communicates with market leaders on staffing needs and clinical contract labor requests.
- Collaborates with market leaders to identify and select applicants with relevant skill and experience.
- Monitors the contract labor approval process and documents information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Partners with system leadership for placement of UPH System Float Pool team members.
- Coordinates with agency representatives to monitor flow of applicants in fulfillment of contract labor requests, extensions, and backfills.
- Effectively communicates with the market leaders to begin market onboarding processes.
- Facilitate communication between market leaders and agency representatives when conflicts arise and elevate unresolved concerns to Nursing Operations leadership.
- Displays proficiency in usage of UPH software platforms and vendor management systems.
- Monitors key performance indicators and tracks data for contract labor.
- Provides input to improvement processes for contract labor usage and cost saving measures.
- Provides reports as requested to UPH stakeholders.
- Acts as a resource to UPH stakeholders for contract labor questions and concerns.
- Provides input to project teams to define, improve, and evaluate processes related to contract labor usage at UPH.
- Exhibits collegial communication skills that enhance outcomes and goal attainment. Acts in a manner that unifies and enhances success.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
Experience: 1 year of professional experience including data entry, multitasking, and problem solving. Previous experience with quality improvement processes and analytical skills.
