Part-time - 20 hours/week - Monday-Friday 1PM-5PM
Responsibilities
A Clinic LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) typically provides direct patient care in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient assessments and take vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate).
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the physician.
- Prepare and assist with medical procedures and examinations.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens.
- Provide patient education on self-care and treatment plans.
- Maintain patient records and update medical charts.
- Ensure patient comfort and address any immediate needs or concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
