Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs and orientation for clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring adherence to patient care standards and age-specific criteria.
- Serve as a clinical resource, assisting staff with problem-solving, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Validate staff competencies through assessments, in-service training, and simulation exercises, maintaining comprehensive records of participation and progress.
Qualifications
Education:
- Registered Nurse
Experience:
- Requires three to five years of clinical emergency services experience to develop proficienies in delivering patient care and to develop and demonstrate leadership skills required by the position.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse in both Illinois and Iowa.
- Certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Sediation, CPIM, ECRN
