CT Technologist Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining radiographic quality. Key duties include positioning patients accurately, operating imaging equipment proficiently, and manipulating techniques to achieve diagnostic precision. The role requires the use of radiation protection devices and techniques in line with safety standards.
Responsibilities
The CT Technologist will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Performs quality diagnostic procedures, general as well as surgical, portable, and tomography.
• Provides and uses radiation protection devices and techniques in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Maintains radiographic quality, positioning of patient and equipment, and technique manipulation are accurate.
• Assists radiologists and/or physicians in specific procedures, patient care, and other duties as required.
• Willingly and cheerfully assists others as needed;
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent, hold a Permit-to-Practice radiology in the state of Iowa, and be certified and registered with the A.R.R.T. as a Radiologic Technologist. Certification and registration with the A.R.R.T. in CT or obtaining CT certification within 6 months of employment is also required.
