Overview
Responsible for preparation and cooking of food items for hospital patients, associates and visitors. Responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary work station and uses recipes and performs daily completion of production records to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
Cooking and Food Preparation
- Cooks / prepares all foods according to standardized recipes, paying close attention to details such as pan sizes, cut sizes, times and temperatures.
- Safely uses and cleans cooking / prep equipment such as knives, meat slicers, ovens, steamers, flat-top griddles, microwaves, and gas ranges.
- Ensures quality by controlling the taste, temperature, and appearance of all foods.
Sanitation and Food Safety
Completion of Temperature Logs and Production Sheets
Qualifications
