Overview
Emergency Medical Technician Basic - Des Moines Civic Center
Shift: PRN, As Needed
Medical team member to perform standby duty and triage, provide first aid intervention during any patient care occurrence at the Des Moines Civic Center during all main house performance as scheduled
Responsibilities
- The medical team will perform triage duties, first aid and stabilization until advanced care arrives.
- The medical team will adhere to UPDM Civic Center medical team guidelines
- The medical team members will exhibit a dedication to high standards of customer service with quick and professional response to all inquiries, areas of concern, or requests for assistance/action
- The medical team members will maintain all UPH-DM hospital employee requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years Pre Hospital experience
- EMT Certification in the State of Iowa
- Ability to multi-task.
- Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
