Responsibilities
- This position provides intake, customer service, registration, coding and all processes necessary to prepare claims for submission to the third party payer.
- This position is responsible for answering/directing all incoming calls and assists all walk in customers.
- Concurrent responsibilities include assisting with the cash day end process, clerical services, preparation of Certificates of Medical Necessity and working with referrals and physician sources over the phone and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Is a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Has previous health care or home care related Intake/Coding and Customer Service experience.
