The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the overall management, development, and growth strategies of the operations of UnityPoint Health – Des Moines. Direct oversight will include Cardo Vascular, Surgical Services, Transplant Center, John Stoddard Cancer Center. Indirect oversight will include Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Environmental Services, Food Services, Spiritual Care, Clinic Operations, Physician Support Services, Pediatric Therapy Services, Child Life Services, Public Safety / Security, Emergency Preparedness and Inpatient and Outpatient Rehab. The COO will establish credibility as a strategic and operationally astute team builder who can develop high performing leaders that will drive quality, customer service, market share, and financial performance.
