This well-established movement disorders practice has a large referral system with 300 affiliated primary care providers. The program includes a well-established educational system for Parkinson's patients and is supported by RNs with extensive neurology experience. There is a significant opportunity to see a variety of movement disorders including botulinum injections and DBS programming. We are affiliated with the American Parkinson Disease Association and offer opportunities for research in movement disorders.
- Practice general neurology alongside subspecialty care in movement disorders
- Full time opportunity to join an established and growing outpatient practice within a large multi-hospital health system network
- Experienced nurses with combined 175 years of experience in neurology. You will have your own neurology nurse
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- Zero call responsibilities; 24/7 neurohospitalist support
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Established team of 5 Outpatient Physicians, 2 Advanced Practitioners and a Neurology Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist; Two Neurohospitalists
