As an RN – Departmental Float at Community Memorial Hospital, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction across multiple departments, including Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency, and Infusion services.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across various departments.
- Conduct regular assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient conditions accurately.
- Safely administer medications, IV infusions, and other prescribed treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and create individualized care plans.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be a versatile and compassionate nurse with excellent communication skills. You'll also need to be able to adapt quickly to the diverse needs of each unit and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses and current licensure in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by the Iowa Board of Nursing. Preferred qualifications include BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications, as well as a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN).
