The Painter position will have the ability to prepare surfaces, select and apply proper coatings to various materials, mix paints and select colors. This position will have a basic knowledge of wall covering- paper, vinyl, wall prepetition and application methods. This position will also be able to perform general maintenance functions to support the Plant Operations department.

Responsibilities
- General painting work
- Ability to perform general maintenance functions to support the building.
- Respond to assigned codes.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Painting skills and general maintenance skills.
- 5 years’ experience in a related field
- Valid Iowa driver’s license for at least three years with an acceptable or clear rating according to the Motor Vehicle Record chart. (see below).
- Must have a minimum of two years driving experience with no record of DUI, DWI, or similar alcohol or drug related offenses over the past five years.
- No record of reckless driving, careless driving, speeding over 15 miles above the speed limit, fleeing or eluding a police officer, chemical test refusal, leaving the scene of an accident, driving after revocation or suspension, or passing a stopped school bus in the last five years.
