Are you interested in working in a hospital as a nurse aide but haven’t taken a nursing aid course? If so, consider applying to our Patient Care Technician Trainee program for the opportunity to earn while you learn. We’ll pay you and we’ll pay for your training. This program will provide you with your basic 75 hour.

Responsibilities
The two week Basic Nurse Aide class will be held in March at Signature Healthcare in Waukee. Participants will be paid while in class. Once participants successfully complete the class, they will begin working the schedule on the hospital unit they were hired into. Work schedules will vary based on the hospital unit that hires the PCT apprentice.

Qualifications
- 16 years of age
- High School Diploma/equivalent preferred
- Ability to succesfully complete a 75 Hour Nurse Aide course.
- Classes are M-F for 2 weeks. Classroom days: 8AM-4:30PM; Clinical days: 7:30AM-3:30PM
