In this role you will gather registration information for all types of patients, direct calls throughout the facility, greet and direct patients throughout the visits to the facility and complete scheduling of appointments for CMH Medical Clinic. This position adheres to Community Memorial Hospital’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Community Memorial Hospital.

Community Memorial Hospital is seeking a Patient Registrar to join our team. In this role you will gather registration information for all types of patients, direct calls throughout the facility, greet and direct patients throughout the visits to the facility and complete scheduling of appointments for CMH Medical Clinic. Qualifications:
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Understand the concepts, principles and practices of Health Information Services.
Other Skills/Abilities
- Exhibit progressive thinking towards the electronic medical record.
- Adapt easily to change in job duties and work environment
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to convey positive image and communicate tactfully and professionally with staff, patients and the public.
- Ability to articulate hospital policies and regulations.
- Strong teamwork mentality to successfully complete work as a team
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people and to work under pressure.
