UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for PRN Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Des Moines, IA.

- Established team of 33 physicians and 13 Advanced Practitioners
- Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff
- PRN – 10-12 hours shifts
- Day, swing and night shifts available
- Closed ICU
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities
- Average of 10-12 patients per day; no nights or weekends
- Dedicated admitters and dedicated hospitalist nursing staff
- No procedures and no codes
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Training REQUIRED
- Board Certified
- Experience preferred
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of State
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
