Job Overview
As an Interventional Radiology Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting with minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance. You will work closely with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic medical setting.
Duties
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, catheter insertions, and angioplasties
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Administer medications and IV sedation as directed by the physician
- Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures accurately
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and potential side effects
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with interventional radiology procedures
- Experience in settings such as ER, urgent care, or a teaching hospital is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and medical staff
- Current RN license with experience in interventional radiology or a related field

Pay: $3,005.00 - $3,212.00 per week
