Overview
We're looking for an Interoperability Engineer to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for production and maintenance support, ensuring high availability, project implementation, technical mentorship, process improvement, and quality assurance of the interfaces in our environment.
Location : Remote / work from home with strong preference for candidates residing within the UPH geographies of Iowa, Illinois, & Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do :
Interface Engine / Corepoint
- Develops HL7 interfaces utilizing the interface engine. Understands workflows and creates consistent, easy to maintain interface workflows.
- Implements new interfaces and makes changes to existing systems within a multifunctional project team. This includes project planning, requirements definition, detailed design, testing cycles, go live events and stabilization support.
- Resolves incidents with assigned applications that integrate with many other systems.
- Ensures the supported interfaces are monitored, maintained, and available as appropriate.
- Manages, maintains and supports infrastructure components that support the interface environment.
- Provides day and evening on-call coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications
What You'll Need : Education :
Engineer I - Required : High School Diploma or GED
Engineer II / III-Required : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related healthcare field or equivalent work experience.
