Work Study - Nursing Student
1st Shift; PRN; as needed
Trinity College of Nursing
The Work Study Nursing Tutor provides one on one tutoring, leads study group sessions, assists students to access other study resources, and provides study tips to ensure a quality learning environment for Trinity College nursing students. This individual may also provide coverage for the extended study hours.
COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Requirement: It is required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza. Exemption requests based on medical or religious reasons may be submitted, but must be approved for active employment.

Responsibilities
- Leads study groups covering content of program courses
- Provides one on one tutoring to nursing students
- Assists students by helping them to apply knowledge of the following to patient care situations: anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, dosage calculation, client assessment techniques, and client care planning.
- Provides study tips to students including: notetaking, information on time management, flash card creation, and more
- Assists student to access other study resources
Qualifications

Education:
| Student enrolled in a baccalaureate degree nursing program or a master degree nursing program. |

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
| Ability to handle nursing and health sciences equipment and instruments in a safe manner. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Needs to be flexible and able to provide exceptional customer service. Ability to organize and work with minimal supervision. Critical thinking skills, organizational skills, creativity and entry-level computer skills. Serves as a role model for other students in the area of professional conduct and compliance with applicable college programs and policies. |
