Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting small to medium packages to various locations in Bryan, College Station while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles (your own vehicle) , in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and customer signatures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas is highly beneficial.
- Ability to handle lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
