Role Overview
As Legal Counsel, you will report to the General Counsel and play a key role in providing legal guidance across North America. You will advise internal stakeholders, support strategic projects, and manage external counsel relationships to ensure compliance and mitigate risk in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Role Overview
As Legal Counsel, you will report to the General Counsel and play a key role in providing legal guidance across North America. You will advise internal stakeholders, support strategic projects, and manage external counsel relationships to ensure compliance and mitigate risk in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to internal business teams on a variety of matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including commercial leases, customer and vendor agreements, and technology contracts.
- Advise on employment-related matters and coordinate with external employment counsel as needed.
- Assist with corporate law matters, transactions, and regulatory compliance.
- Interpret existing contractual arrangements and provide guidance on contract management.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel.
- Develop a deep understanding of UniUni's business operations to provide practical and strategic legal advice.
- 3 to 6 years of corporate and commercial legal experience, ideally from a top-tier law firm or a mix of law firm and in-house roles.
- Experience in employment law, commercial leasing, or transportation regulatory matters is an asset but not required.
- Licensed to practice law in one or more U.S. states and/or Canadian provinces.
- Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills with a business-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a diverse environment.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-moving industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin or French is an asset but not required.
- Remote-friendly role; candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. Hybrid work is available for those in Southern California or Vancouver.
