Job Description
As an Industry Manager at ChemPoint, you'll be responsible for providing leadership and direction to Product Portfolio Managers for designated industries. This will involve developing and refining our marketing and sales processes, maintaining strong relationships with vendors, and analyzing product sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business unit direction and growth strategies for assigned industries, managing global portfolios' profit and loss.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and refine ChemPoint's marketing and sales processes, ensuring alignment with objectives and exceeding supplier, customer, and internal expectations.
- Recommend strategic initiatives to drive business results, leveraging your expertise and relationships with vendors.
- Analyze product sales and profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in strategic marketing, management, and direct sales, preferably as a Market Analyst, or 10 years of equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
