Job Overview
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Industry Manager, working from home in Chicago with occasional travel. The salary range is $128,000 - $192,000, plus incentive pay and a diverse benefits package.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Product Portfolio Managers for assigned industries, driving business unit direction and growth strategies while managing global portfolios' profit and loss.
- Develop and refine ChemPoint's marketing and sales processes, ensuring alignment with Marketing objectives and exceeding supplier, customer, and internal expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, leveraging your expertise to recommend strategic initiatives and drive business results.
- Analyze product sales and profitability, comparing against established goals and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution or equivalent work experience.
- Strategic marketing, management, and direct sales experience, preferably as a Market Analyst, or 10 years of equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in PC and Windows OS, with database experience preferred.
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
