As an Application Development Specialist you will provide technical services to assigned industry customers for the purpose of sales growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
Customer Activities :
- Promote distinction between Univar Solutions and our competitors by using a technical consultative approach to needs-based evaluations of the technology used by customers.
- Adapt and implement on a local basis, the national product strategies and services as written by the Industry Director.
- Assist field sellers and industry team members with joint calls.
- Identify which Univar technological product best suits the customer’s applications and develop strategies to promote customers’ adaptation and / or conversion to Univar products.
- Build profitable sales, employing a consultative approach.
- Develop and maintain a long-term partnership with customers by using industry expertise.
- Use Univar resources to provide solutions to customer needs and capture market intelligence.
- Manage communication with supplier technical resources.
- Collaborate on products and service solutions.
- Attend product training / continuing education / updates.
- Assist with new product launches.
- Assist in qualifications of potential new suppliers / products.
- Provide feedback on technical aspects, intelligence, and marketplace.
