As a senior executive, the Vice President of Human Resources leads and strategizes all aspects of the HR function, ensuring alignment with credit union goals and policies, attracting and retaining talent, and maintaining legal compliance with governmental regulations. Provides leadership and participates in establishing and implementing major goals and strategic objectives of the Credit Union, department objectives, policies, plans, and serve as a resource in all aspects of human resources. - Directly responsible for upholding and overseeing the following:

- The development and implementation of effective human resource strategic planning.
- Assists the executive team with long and short-run human resource planning. Provides guidance and recommendations to executive management in developing and carrying out strategic planning initiatives as they apply to human resources.
- Executes established goals and ensures that human resource policies support and complement Credit Union strategies and goals.
- Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and goals that further strategic objectives. Develops and maintains operating budgets, monitors, and analyzes various HR metrics, creating scheduled reports to executive management.
- Continually evaluates established policies and procedures and updates or modifies them as necessary.
- Develops and maintains the Employee Handbook and evaluates implements and maintains all pertinent training materials.
- Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of Human Resources functions.
- Assumes responsibility for leadership and management of Human Resources staff
