Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Promote and comply with all company safety, health and environmental policies, rules and regulations.
- Implements assigned projects and planned maintenance activities with assistance from the maintenance managers, maintenance personnel and the maintenance project team.
- Provide engineering support for various process improvement initiatives.
- Provide engineering support as needed to the EHS group.
- Performs other required duties as needed in addition to the essential responsibilities described above.
- Minimum Education: 2 years in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program.
- Leadership Skills: Promote safety as a core value; understand leadership role for Safety culture and that others will model their sentiment, attitudes, and actions; understand the need to demonstrate a hyper level of safety conscientiousness and obsessiveness.
- Project Skills: Able to coordinate projects and execute plans involving multiple personnel from various departments.
- Decision-making Skills: Think in terms of what is best for the business and customer when making decisions that may affect areas outside of immediate influence.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to resolve conflict with internal or external sources in the utmost professional manner.
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to carry out and communicate written and/or oral instructions.
- Physical Abilities: Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands; must be able to lift 50 pounds at any time during his/her shift.; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
