We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. As a family-owned HVAC company, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and refrigeration systems, with a proven track record of successful service and repair work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose system issues and troubleshoot problems efficiently to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand specific requirements and provide expert recommendations on system improvements or upgrades.
- Keep accurate records of service performed, including equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a commercial HVAC and refrigeration service technician.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including but not limited to ice makers, rooftop units, chillers, air handling units, and walk-in coolers/freezers.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong understanding of electrical, refrigeration, and control systems associated with commercial HVAC equipment.
- Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Valid WA driver's license with a clean driving record.
- EPA Universal Certification preferred.
