About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team at Universal Asset Management Inc. In this key role, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of components and related assemblies to UAM customers, ensuring timely and accurate receipt and shipment of inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Packing, crating, and shipping UAM inventory worldwide
- Verifying items to be received into inventory through physical and remote receiving processes
- Receiving Repair Orders, RMAs, and UAM Purchase Orders, and entering Air Waybills into the receiving log when delivered
- Utilizing shipping software to optimize shipping and transport procedures
- Coordinating the delivery of components and related assemblies to UAM customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to analyze data, search for errors, and work towards solutions autonomously
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines and multitask
- Goal-oriented, persuasive, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in warehouse and inventory management is a plus, as is aviation experience and computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite
