This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior FPGA Designer located in Auburn, AL. The Senior FPGA Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing FPGA-based solutions for various avionic systems. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, creating design specifications, coding, implementing, and verifying FPGA designs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves troubleshooting and optimizing existing FPGA designs to enhance performance and reliability.
- Expertise in FPGA design and development, including VHDL/Verilog coding and simulation
- Experience with FPGA implementation tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, and ModelSim
- Knowledge of avionic systems and standards such as DO-254
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with high-speed PCB design and RF design is a plus
- Relevant industry certifications or professional engineering license is a plus
Salary : $140,000 - $165,000
