POSITION SUMMARY :
Supports Area Management in preparing and creating Journal Entries in The General Ledger System, reconciles General Ledger Accounts, monitor daily General Ledger activities, works with different projects as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following :
General Ledger Control : _
- Daily maintenance of General Ledger “GL” which includes daily resolution of unposted or rejected items, opening and closing GL accounts and cost centers.
- Daily review of the Bank’s balance sheet and income statement, provides research and explanation of significant variances to management.
- Preparation of GL journal entries as needed.
- Perform callbacks of GL entries made as needed.
