Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Application Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and a thorough understanding of mechanical systems and their sequences of operation. This role will involve designing and implementing control systems, supporting sales efforts, and contributing to energy-efficient solutions. While our headquarters are in Northern Colorado, this role offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work arrangements for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop control drawings for new projects.
· Prepare and manage submittals for project documentation.
· Provide technical design support to the sales team.
· Conduct HVAC and building energy conservation calculations.
· Implement energy management engineering strategies to enhance system efficiency.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and their operational sequences.
· Experience with control systems design and energy analysis is preferred.
· Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
· Knowledge of Niagara N4, ABB Cylon, Honeywell, or other Building Automation Systems (BAS) is a plus.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Experience:
· 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred; however, recent graduates with applicable skills and knowledge are encouraged to apply.
