The Architecture Design Intern will help facilitate the design of projects through initial phases of design and concept with various team disciplines. The intern will be requested to help prepare internal documentation that captures existing information for the design team to use for development and presentations. They will be exposed to brainstorm sessions and the collaborative process. The Architecture Design Intern will be exposed to the fundamentals of the design process and witness their effect on a project as it progresses through the phases of design and construction.

The Architecture Design Intern will help facilitate the design of projects through initial phases of design and concept with various team disciplines. The Architecture Design Intern will be exposed to the fundamentals of the design process and witness their effect on a project as it progresses through the phases of design and construction.
Major Responsibilities
- Researches and compiles existing park information to inform future designs.
- Generates 3D models as well as 2D CAD drawings and sketches.
- Attends meetings and compiles summarized information for internal team's use.
- Coordinates site walks and learning opportunities.
- Develops ideas for new attraction concepts alongside various disciplines.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Preferred majors include: Architecture or similar.
- Preferred coursework completed: Drafting, 3D Modeling, Rendering, Sketching and Illustration, or similar.
- Experience utilizing AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Suite.
- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2025.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
