Major Responsibilities
- Works with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure alignment of departmental processes and capture business requirements across departments.
- Assists in evaluating and enhancing existing or new business processes, including streamlining workflows, automating tasks, refining data reporting, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assists in curating and generating data reports to provide actionable insights that support process improvements and decision-making.
- Records all enhancements and changes made to the project management system, ensuring updates are accurately reflected in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the business process improvement and training development team in achieving their objectives.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Preferred majors include: Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Data Analytics, or similar.
- Preferred coursework completed: Business Process Analysis, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Project Management, or similar.
- Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate), reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), and/or process mapping (e.g., Visio) is preferred.
- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2025.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
