Interns will support the Immersive Experiences & Play Production Team in the management of the creative design team and vendors responsible for show elements vital to the guest experience for interactive development. Interns will gain hands-on experience working on active projects, as well as gain an understanding of managing project critical path items (budget, schedule, deliverables) to guarantee project success as early stages of development. There will also be additional opportunities to assist with design efforts as needed.

Interns will support the Immersive Experiences & Play Production Team in the management of the creative design team and vendors responsible for show elements vital to the guest experience for interactive development. Major Responsibilities
- Provides direction to design team that supports department vision and progresses individual scopes.
- Assists in creating supporting materials and documentation that give high-level overviews of current design.
- Reports and escalates concerns & blockers to project critical milestones and works with the project team & mentor to identify solutions or workarounds.
- Remains vigilant in archival processes that create historic examples for future reference.
- Identifies & collaborates with project teams and other external/internal partners as necessary to achieve project goals.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Preferred majors include: Production, Project Management, Hospitality Management, Theme Park Management, or similar.
- Preferred coursework completed: Design, or similar.
- Basic understanding of CAD, Unity, or Unreal platforms.
- Familiarity with modern theme park interactive offerings.
- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2025.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
