Universal Horror Unleashed is a terrifyingly unique experience that will bring haunts to Las Vegas year-round. Located at Area 15 is the heart of horror – we would love to have you haunting alongside us! With the nature of this experience comes a unique working environment. You will find yourself working in dark environments around special effects including strobe lights, fog, artificial smells, and more. The working hours will be unique, typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). Job Summary
Serves as the key administrative partner to Universal Horror Unleashed’s Technical & Show Operations management by upholding and reinforcing company and venue specific policies and procedures. Supports the Technical & Show Operation of UHU by providing planning, logistics and execution support of team workload, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion. Supports team leadership by creating and maintaining necessary technical documentation and reporting. Responsible for documenting all technical inventory and forecasting necessary finance requests. Provides necessary information in a timely fashion to upper management as well as affected partnering departments.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates with internal and external partners, team members, guests and outside vendors as necessary to support completion of Technical & Show projects. Oversees the completion of work by vendors or internal partners as required to meet deadlines and/or reduce out-of-show times. Monitors Maximo submissions and ensures proper tracking of all technical maintenance. Quickly identifies and escalates any issues to management to ensure successful work completion.
- Assists Technical Manager and Supervisors with the development and modification of venue documentation, schedules, and training/licensing verification as assigned. Monitors departmental Safety and Compliance Training and identifies Team Members in need of training. Schedules and enrolls Team Members for training and confirms and monitors Team Member licensing and state required technical training. Ensures all team members maintain their licensing throughout their employment within Universal Horror Unleashed. Monitors UKG requests and routes to leadership for approval.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting usage of technical equipment, collecting information from Maximo submissions. In tandem with the Coordinator, Logistics monitors the inventory of technical equipment, submitting requests to the appropriate Finance partners when needed. Builds out reporting to ensure management and key partners have visibility into equipment request trends to inform future purchasing patterns, downtimes or out-of-show instances by element overtime to inform actionable methods of improving show quality and guest satisfaction, or other such informational reports.
- Uses technical knowledge of current department needs to create, compile and update informational reports needed to ensure proper technical installation and operation of Universal Horror Unleashed. Supports maintenance of official Technical & Show documentation to include Standard Operating Procedures, work guides, and other technical resources to support operational changes and safety regulations.
- Assist in the coordination, delegation and scheduling of various work to be done by in-house technicians, partnering departments, and outside vendors. Communicate expectations and technician specifications, monitor and follow up on all work to ensure proper completion and satisfaction for Universal. Complete reporting of all completed work and communicate to Technical Leaders.
- Partner heavily with the Coordinator, Logistics and Technical Leads to ensure proper storage of Technical Equipment in the Warehouse. Tracks all inventory and manages notifications of equipment usage and daily deliveries.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
