The Opportunity
Universal DX is seeking a Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team. You will report to the Senior Director of Quality and work closely with the laboratory operations team to support Quality oversight for the QC and development Dallas-based laboratory for Universal DX’s screening test for colorectal cancer.

The Opportunity
Universal DX is seeking a Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team. You will report to the Senior Director of Quality and work closely with the laboratory operations team to support Quality oversight for the QC and development Dallas-based laboratory for Universal DX’s screening test for colorectal cancer.
As The Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist, You Will
- Review equipment documentation and input documentation to the equipment management application.
- Review equipment calibration and maintenance records and ensure compliance with specification.
- Initiate Nonconformance for issues identified related to equipment calibration failures and other nonconformance identified in the laboratory.
- Perform incoming inspection for all reagents and material received at the laboratory.
- Process change control requests to support US operations.
- Create training records as needed to support new document revisions.
- Bachelor Degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience working in an in vitro diagnostic or in the medical device industry.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office including, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to facilitate implementation of corporate quality systems in a positive and proactive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others, as well as the ability to operate independently as required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be goal oriented and results driven.
- Must have strong technical and organizational skills.
